Landlord from past apartment is charging us 7 months later after moving out.

So we had renewed a lease for a year. Four months into the lease we had written a 30 day notice of moving out. We told her a date of moving out and she told us face to face that no fees will be charged except for damages to the apartment if any. So they charged us about two or three months after we moved out. 600 dollars for breaking the lease (that she told us was okay and we gave her a written 30 day notice like the lease said to do) they charged us 600 dollars to replace the entire carpet. 200 dollars for replacing blinds. 100 dollars for changing the locks. And 600 dollars for the rent that month. So we owe them like 2k. They did not use any of our security deposit to any of the damages the deposit was 600. They did not contact us about these charges until we were out of the apartment two or three months. I remember cleaning that apartment top to bottom and they charged us for that as well. We contacted them about this and they still did not use the security deposit. They told us as long as we don’t completely disappear that things will be fine. Now they got a lawyer that has contacted us about being in dept. so everything she has said to us saying it’s fine. Even though we did the right thing that the lease said to do. She has continued to take it to the next step.
