My mind turns food into bugs
I have thoughts constantly when I think of eating a particular thing my brain will turn it into bugs i.e. noodles become worms or rice becomes maggots. And all appetite is lost and I don’t eat for the whole day, I usually force myself to eat so I don’t feel hungry but I can’t do it without thinking I’m actually eating bugs and it makes me feel ill. I struggle to eat because of this and have lost a lot of weight, it’s actually very stressful and I wish I could enjoy food without imagining horrible things. I tried searching it up but there’s nothing that explains it, I posted this to see if anyone can help me understand or if they suffer from the same thing? What can I do to make it stop?
