Abnormal Uterine Bleeding?

I know we're not Doctors, but I'm needing some answers. My last period was November 28th - December 3rd. On the 15th, 27th and 28th I've had some odd old period blood spotting going on. I've taken test after test and all say negatives. I've already tried to get a opinion but all they gave me was a piece of paper that was explaining Abnormal Uterine Bleeding and gotten a recommendation to a Dr, but I won't be able to go in until February 18th or 19th. I've had cramps here and there, mood swings, gain some weight, hot flashes and nausea but still no sign of my period and all tests were shown negative (urine). If they gave me information about the abnormal Uterine Bleeding, could it mean maybe they seen something in my urine that shows these signs? I know it sounds like a dumb question and I'm not trying to sound like I'm panicking. Thank you!
