i’m in a brand new relationship that was a friendship and became something more. we have been hot and heavy in texts and over the phone because of the pandemic. we made plans to spend time together and consummate the relationship. i brought up being responsible and getting a sti/std test beforehand. now he’s unsure if he can get it done in time and so on. but it’s not for another seven weeks. i just feel hinky about this

EDIT: when we had this conversation, he stated that if he’s unable to get the test done in time, we would keep our time together PG. my issue isn’t that he wants to have unsafe sex but that it didn’t occur to him and that it’s not enough of a priority that he’s sure he’ll get it done right away
