Should I get tested for my progesterone level after having a chemical pregnancy?

Doesn’t hurt 🤷🏼‍♀️ but a chemical pregnancy may not be due to low progesterone. Do you have other symptoms? Like luteal phase spotting? But I say ask your Dr. I’m all about being informed and proactive 👍🏻

You should, chemicals happen, according to the studies, mostly due to chromosome abnormalities, but it's complicated to diagnose this. However, low progesterone does not help keep a pregnancy either. I managed to test right before I had my chemical: progesterone was 2, extremely low.

It wouldn’t hurt. I’ve had a chemical pregnancy and 2 miscarriages at 9 weeks all 3 miscarriages were right after the other. My dr did blood test to see if it was anything to do with chromosome imbalance or just killer cells and everything come back fine. The day after I found out I was pregnant my Dr did more bloodwork and my progesterone was 15.6. She said it was above 15 so that’s good but wanted to start me on progesterone since I’ve been worried. I now take it 3 times a day.
