How to get over heartbreak

Im still in love with him, was dumped. I put so much effort in and never had been in love with anyone before just for him to pretend that he was okay emotionally, have sex with me, then blindside me the next day and dump me. I think I could have been with him through it but what is done is done. At least I know how to love and how I should be treated, even though I very much was not treated towards that standard at the end. I like to believe that I wasn’t used and that I didn’t give my virginity to someone who was having second thoughts of our relationship. I don’t know what to do. How do I move on from this?
