low cervix

hi mamas! i am around 32-33+4 today and had an unscheduled appointment at the OB today because i have been cramping since midnight last night. the doctor said ive been having contractions and that i am dilated to a 1 right now 😱 she also said i have a very low cervix and his head is very far down into my pelvis 😰 she gave me some medicine to help stop contractions but a miscommunication with the pharmacy and i couldn't get the medicine, but i am still continuing to cramp

has anyone else had anything like this? i am worried that little man is trying to come early 😥

also, how early can a baby come and be okay and not need to be in the NICU or to stay extra in the hospital ☹️
