Why can some parents be so ignorant?

Today I took Logan to therapy and he was holding his Luisa doll from Encanto he’s obsessed with her. I’m not sure what the other mom was thinking when I heard her say that’s a girl toy to her son who wanted to play with the doll as well. I was in complete shock.

People can be obnoxious. Let it roll off your back- more than being ashamed she is actually doing her children more harm than good by stunting their development by restricting what they “can” and “cannot” play with. People need to let kids be kids. I know that this is in a different vein of things but Jesse carry’s around a strange comfort item (my large make up brush 😂) and when I told his pediatrician he just laughed and said “so?!” I’ll say we get weird looks when we’re out as well. I’ve just learned to shake it off.

Really!? That is shocking and sad. Kids should have the freedom to play with whatever toys they wish. We have also watched that movie probably 200 times on my sons request 😂

Oh man people are so mean. I kept getting comments about my sons hair being too long and him looking like a girl but he literally would not let anyone cut it. When I finally did get it cut my father in law kept going on and on about how he looks like a man now like come on they’re 2! Societal pressures are ridiculous

People can be so rude! James has like 6 baby dolls and some Moana dolls he loves! Lol but he also loves his marvel and Star Wars toys! They shouldn’t be labeled “boy” or “girl” toys! 🤨

I hate this so much! Amelia was playing with toy drill, hammer and screws at playgroup today and everyone accepts that as ok so wht not the other way round? So silly.
