Best time of day to feed 6 month old solids?

Is once a day right or should they be eating a solids more than that?  Does when you feed them solids have anything to do with sleeping habits?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter, and is whatever works for you and your schedule. At this point, it's about practice and introducing new flavors and textures, so however that looks for you is the right choice! Nutrition through solids will come later.

I offered baby everytime I ate. So at least 3 times a day.

We started at 6 months with a tablespoon once a day. About a half an hour to an hour after bottle/breast feeding. Food before 1 is just for fun and is not the primary source of nutrition. When introducing new foods you should start with a teaspoon 3x a week or every other day. If by day three there is no reaction it's safe to assume babe isn't allergic to that food. Always introduce one new food at a time to ensure no allergies

I started with morning feeds. That way I could see if she had any reactions to certain items...most allergies set in immediately but some can be delayed so I was just being extra cautious.

At 6 months we just do whatever works as long as they're getting one meal a day. We do BLW. Then slowly we expand and offer more meals and snacks. By 9 months they're usually having 3 meals and potentially a couple snacks. 😅 But don't stress about routine too much in the beginning.

I fed my LO at different hours. The only thing I did not do is feed her any of the top allergens for the first time for dinner or later. Since allergic reactions/ anaphylaxis can sometimes take hours to appear I tried to do all of those in the morning for their first time to watch her for the whole day. It was just my personal preference.
