Husband never checks on me during 24 hour shifts.

I’m 25 weeks pregnant, and I work from home. I have pretty bad anxiety that I’m managing but the pregnancy has made it worse. My husbands job has been making him work 24 hour shifts every other day for the last month. Basically he will leave at 2am then get home at 2am the next day, have that day off, and then leave at 2am again. He has a rest period during the 24 hour shift where he gets about 5 hours to sleep and get food. It’s also not a physically active job, mainly just standing guard. And I can see that he posts stuff online here and there throughout the shift.

Anyway, back when he first started this shift I would text him or call him asking how his day is or to say good night I’d call once when i know he’s on his rest period and we would talk for about 5 minutes and i would text him good morning and goodnight, I didn’t blow up his phone . But sometimes he wouldn’t answer or respond, but then still post online. I just stopped texting and calling when he’s on the shift now. And he doesn’t even reach out to me at all. The last 3 days that he has worked this shift he doesn’t say anything. He’s an hour away, and he has our only vehicle. We are also in a town where I know nobody. And I just am a bit hurt that I’m 25 weeks pregnant and he can go all day without talking to me and be fine. I haven’t brought it up because I don’t want to be needy.
