Should I be upset or reasonable

I have been with my boyfriend for over a year now and lately we have been arguing a bit more than usual so I have been upset and I’ll say to him hey I love you forever and ever and he says like I’ll love you for how ever long I can and I know he’s being realistic but it upsets me bc I wanna be w him forever right and maybe I’m just over thinking it I just wanna hear another girl’s opinion and maybe snap some sense into me because I know I’m also insecure:( advice please

I also have hella abandonment issues so that doesn’t help
