Daycare / preschool naps
Hey all, my 2-year-old just started preschool and every day when we pick her up the teachers say she's not napping..and it's obvious by how she acts the rest of the day (👿). She's an amazing napper at home - usually sleeps from 12:30-2:30 or even 3. I'm afraid we set her up for failure though because at home we use white noise (we live in a tiny apt and her bed is adjacent to the kitchen, so it can get noisy when we're cleaning up). Also I guess her school starts naps at 11:30. And they nap on mats in the play room so I can only imagine how stimulating that is for her, who only has a handful of toys at home.
This weekend we're going to put her down for naps at 11:30 and have her white noise turn off 30 min in to start weaning her off it. Any other suggestions? Or is this just how it's going to be from now on, with our daughter being a total over-exhausted mess every day after school?
