Of course. If by belief you mean religion then lots of religions speak about sexuality and many people refrain from sex due to different beliefs. Your personality can  determine your ability to find stable partners so if you have a bad personality long term relationships will be difficult to come by. It also can attract different kinds of people. Your mental state (depression anxiety etc) also affects your sex drive and medications for those can also effect it. Almost Anything can effect sexuality
