Covid croup in toddler .. Help

So my husband and I both found out we have covid. It’s been about a week, week and a half, and now my son (4.5) has it.

I’ve been having a serious heck of a time keeping his fever under control, I can’t seem to get it under 100.something /101 …. Even with alternating ibuprofen and Tylenol every 3 hours (pediatrician said we could do this at one point for bad fevers) …. My poor little guy is struggling so much, it’s day 2 or 3 for him now, and he’s having a really hard time sleeping. Fever is up, he’s got the chills, bad croup, cough, sore throat, headache, and who knows what else (he has a speech delay, so communication isn’t always super clear)

I’ve been giving him the Tylenol & ibuprofen, running a cool mist humidifier & cracking the window for cold air, showers for fevers, popsicles to soothe sore throats and bring fevers down… but everything is only getting worse.

What should I do? Any advice? Experiences? PLEASE HELP … it hurts my heart so so so much to see my sweet boy so sick and hurting 😭 I’m stressed out to the max with all of this and I need to know he’ll be ok
