So we messed up when my 8 month old was a newborn and let him sleep in a rock and play (I know they were recalled please don't come at me for that.) Because he refused to sleep in a bassinet. We should have gotten him used to it then because now at 8mo he refuses to sleep in anything flat at all. If he does fall asleep in it he wakes up after 45 minutes crying (nap time) and at night he will not let us leave the room after he falls asleep, he must have some kind of sixth sense cause he's snoring and everything but the moment a door closes or we walk away he starts crying, I have to physically rock the mat in the play pin to get him to fall asleep in the first place. Crying it out doesn't work because he'll cry for hours without falling asleep, music doesn't work, even patting his butt/back doesn't work. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any advice, please?
