I've been seeing this guy for four months now. We have a great time together. When we are together it feels like we are really together a couple. Today he was joking around and said that I love him. I asked, if thats what he wants and he replied "I want you to really really really like me" why won't he ask me to be his gf. So frustrating sometimes. Maybe I should just swallow my pride and make that first move.

Some people don't actually ask "can you be my girlfriend?" You just develop into a couple naturally.. He sounds like he likes you 😊. Maybe next time you are joking around just say "so what actually are we? Are we a couple?" Just say it in a casual, light hearted way and see how he responds!

I think you should strike up some kind of conversation about your guys' status. It's nice for things to develop naturally, but it's also good to make things official (especially so you guys can have an exact date to celebrate anniversaries!). I would just bring it up casually, and if he still doesn't make that move, then there's definitely nothing wrong with you making the move first! I'm sure he'd be really excited if you asked him to officially be in a relationship with you. Best of luck 💕
