"Grey Area"?

I had my beta test this morning and my nurse just called me back with results and said that I'm in a grey area. She said in order for the pregnancy test to be negative it has to be less than "5" but in order for it to be positive, it has to be greater than "25" and my levels are falling between 5 and 25. So I am increasing progesterone and going back for more blood work in two days. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I'm very confused and don't know what to expect.

My beta today was positive! I went up to 35 from 7 in 48 hours!

That sounds like good news to me! You know how medical things go, they always have to tell you the worst.  They don't want to get your hopes up but if you are over 5 I bet your levels are going to keep rising! Keep the faith! Good luck!

Mine was 64 at 14dpo and 187 at 16dpo so when it's early it can still be low

I had one at 24 at 13 dpo. They doubled but always remained low, I was pregnant. I made it to 15 weeks the reason mine was so low was due to a chromosomal abnormality. It could be you are really early or it will be an early miscarriage or something is wrong with the baby like in my case.

My first HCG was a 6 then started to triple, unfortunately it ended in ectopic at 7 weeks.  I pray you have a better outcome ☺️

I had a beta of 12 my first one. Then one two days later was negative. I had a chemical pregnancy but was considered pregant with 12   anything over 5 is pregnant

I've always heard that anything over 5 is positive. Hcg levels can be low especially if you're very early
