Potty training
My daughter will be 2 and a half in a couple months and we have been potty training her for a month now. She does pretty well with peeing on the potty and will go several days without any pee accidents, so we consider that a win. However, when it comes to pooping on the toilet, she will only do it sporadically. I think we have only had one or two days where she didn’t have a poop accident. She poops 2-3 times per day (she always has) so it’s really starting to become a lot of work to constantly be cleaning up poop. I’ve thrown countless pairs of underwear away. I’ve tried everything to get her to poop on the potty - special treats, fun outings, stickers, lots of praise, etc. When she does go on the toilet, she gets very excited, so she knows how to do it but just won’t do it consistently. She goes to daycare and only occasionally poops on the toilet there too. I’m sure they are equally as frustrated. Does anyone have any tips to get her to use the toilet regularly? When she is home with me, I am constantly looking for her poop cues, but sometimes she catches on to me and just does it without any warning. 🤯
