This is a genuine question…. I have a friend who was adopted into another race than her’s. She mentioned today that you can identify as anything today, man, woman, short, tall, old, young, and whatever race you want. So she chooses to identify as the race of her adoptive family. I see her point, I mean, if we can identify as a different sex, why can’t we identify as all different physical things than the make up of our bodies…but still.. I thought it was just with gender, I mean, shouldn’t there be a line???

Sorry if this sounds like more of a debate. I was going to ask in the debate group, but they are specific when it comes to this topic and referred me here….

No hate to others and be respectful as I know this is a sensitive topic. I just want to know others thoughts on this. Especially when we live in a world where race dictates a lot…

Also, friend is biologically white, identifies as black.
