Independent

Please help me help my son how to be more independent. He's 2.5 yrs old, I see kids his age riding bikes, electric cars, climbing, dressing themselves & other stuff. His speech therapist already told me he's not independent enough. I know I probably messed up, he was my first and I had no help or guidance and I always did and still do everything for him, he's my baby you know? Now I try to make him independent by not helping him do stuff and he just throws tantrums 😢
