I feel strangely okay about this.

Hey so yesterday I posted about being into a guy and being unable to meet up due to family issues. He had asked me out several times and I thought I'd keep him in the loop.

Well I messaged him today and said "Sorry about the other day. I am still interested however I have some family stuff going on atm. Just thought I'd let you know incase you thought I'd left you hanging."

And he responded with:

My friend said to give him time, but honestly I don't think he will respond. I can see he's read it and I'm okay with that. I felt more on edge before sending the message more than anything and now I feel relieved cos I followed through. Plus I guess I know where I stand!
