Sore throat and no insurance

We went over to my mother in laws house yesterday and she made me a turkey sandwich and within minutes my throat started getting sore, I don't think the sandwich was related but it has steadily gotten more painful. Now it feels like I have a piece of glass stuck in the back of my throat and I think the glands in my neck are starting to swell. I was looking at my throat and it looks like there a small hole on one side but I can't tell if it's just swelling or not.
