Starting IUI/IVF?

Question

We had our specialist appointment the other day and it felt quite overwhelming with so many decisions to make. IVF? IUI? 
Thankfully our specialist has offered counselling before making the right decision for us. 
Wondering for those that have experienced these overwhelming decisions if you could share a good story with me? Have been feeling so sad lately that we now have to make these decisions 2 years after trying to conceive

It depends on your diagnosis. We were unexplained so in theory IUI should have worked but we tried 3 and they all failed. I wish we would have skipped them since it was a huge waste of money and time but if we did that I would always wonder if they would have worked. IVF worked the first time and we have plenty more frozen embryos waiting for us when we are ready for the next one.

My fertility journey is a little different as I am using a sperm donor. 
IUI is far less invasive and an easy way to start. I have had two IUI cycles and fell pregnant. 
1st miscarriage at 5 weeks and the second at 19 weeks. 
If the sperm quality is good and your tubes are clear, I would recommend trying this first. 
I am about to go down the IVF route - there are slightly higher success rates (given the sperm and egg have done their thing and all you need is the blastocyst to stick). I'd much rather go another round of IUI, however the sperm quality is not as good and this is my way forward unless I find another donor. 
Trust the advice of the clinic/counsellor who will guide you to the best way forward that is right for both you and your partner.

Iui has failed me miserable. I am currently doing IVF and triggering tomorrow and I have OHSS which can kill me. I have way too many follicles. I can't really say which one to do ..but. maybe try small and go bigger later I dunno
