Teething?

My daughter has been putting her fingers in her mouth constantly she will be in the middle of eating and push her bottle out to suck on her fingers or she will push her binky out to suck on her fingers or scream and cry while pulling at her gums but her doctor didn't even bother to look just got annoyed we asked about her teething and said it's not possible (when she was 2M) now she is 3M almost 4M and still doing this so we got a second opinion and they also said they don't see anything, me and my partner see bottom front teeth inside her gums like an outline showing from the side not on top she is 14W and 2D

My son is doing the same thing. I believe he’s teething bc he will put his fingers in his mouth, rub his hands back n forth across mouth and he’ll fuss. I started using baby oral gel on his gums and it helps him a lot.

My second got teeth about 3 months old. It’s not impossible to teeth at 2 months. Some babies can be born with teeth! Crazy! My 3rd I’m positive she’s teething. She’s drooling and putting her hands in her mouth. She did discover her hands so it’s common to do that though. It could be both tbh.

My first got his first tooth at 4 months. My pediatrician said that my son has swollen gums right now and he’s also currently 4 months. It all depends on the child. Some take a whole year to get their first tooth and some can even be born with them. If you see them chewing on their hands and drooling a lot it’s a sign of teething. Just try and feed them as usual and maybe let them chew on a cold toy every now and then.

My son who is 3m/o has been refusing to drink as well and the doctors have said it can’t be teething! However the nurses said some baby can teeth really early. They asked me to feel his gums and you can feel it’s kind of bumpy… he is still refusing to drink and we are afraid it could be something else too… just looking a lot into this hopefully he gets well soon and starts to drink the normal amount that he should be drinking.

It developmentally normal for them to spend a ton of time chewing on their hands at this age. My family member swore their baby was teething at like 2-3 months and their baby got their first tooth At 11 months. It’s possible but I would say it’s not very likely that it’s actually teething.
