“Little man” is the cringiest term ever, am I right?

I absolutely DESPISE when people refer to a baby as “little man”. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I alone on this? It’s made worse by the fact that my MIL has decided this is what she’s going to call my baby until he is born. I’ve expressed how much I dislike it, but unless we tell her the name, this is what she is calling him. Pretty much out of spite that we are keeping the name a secret until birth.
