Birthday planning is difficult!

What have you done for birthday parties this year this winter cold weather has me stressed figuring out where to do a birthday party and the expenses.

Do you guys celebrate your kids bday on their actual date of birth a small thing and throw them a birthday party when available w another cake? I'm questioning if it's terrible to not buy a cake sing happy birthday on the actual day they were born what do you normally do

I'm debating just doing a bday party just us at home but has been asking for a party so I'm looking into how to plan a party ages 4-7
