Potty training

So I’m in the middle of potty training. My lo is doing really well! She goes every time we take a bathroom break, I’ve seen her hold her pre for 2 hours, she can pull her pants up and down and get on the potty herself, knows how to wipe and wash her hands. Needless to say she’s ready, but I’m having a hard time getting her to tell me when she needs to go. She also still has accidents throughout the day. The daycare recommended that we just strictly switch to underwear and just change her whenever she has an accident, that was it might “push” her in the right direction. I don’t want to push her to do anything but I also don’t want her to think it’s okay to go in her pull ups. You think this is a good plan?

Also, sometimes I let her run around naked on the weekends, just so I don’t waste underwear. She was just hanging around and she looked at me and said “I peepee” meaning she needs go, and she intentionally went right in front of me! I know you’re not supposed to scold them for having accidents, but what if she did it intentionally? I don’t want her to think it’s okay to piss everywhere, lol. When she did this, I just told her we are supposed to go pee in the potty in a calm voice…I just hope it’s getting through to her.
