My sweet boy has arrived 🥰
Logan James made his debut on 3/5/22 at 4:42am! I had to be induced due to him measuring small (came out at 6lbs 0.2oz and 19 inches long)
and concerns that something could go wrong if I waited any longer. Went in to start the induction the night I hit 39 weeks, had him at 39 weeks 2 days. It was a long process as I wasn’t dilated or effaced at all when we started. I was put on Cytotec at 11pm and then started Pitocin at 12:45pm the next day. Dilation was very slow but I was at 1cm so my doctor broke my water at around 5:15 and things picked up a little quicker but still moved slowly. Had a little scare later that night when his heart rate started dropping and I had to be given oxygen and moved into different positions, felt like a lifetime. Things continued to move along and around 3:45am I all of a sudden felt like a head was coming out, I called in the nurse and she came to check and said “so we have known he’s been hanging there for a little bit the doctor is delivering another baby” I felt betrayed haha making me wait when he was already starting to crown, that wait also felt like a lifetime. But he finally arrived after 3 quick pushes and we couldn’t be more in love 💙
