Umbilical hernia?

Does anyone have experience with this? My hernia came from this pregnancy which is my second pregnancy and my belly button protrudes a little bit, not as bad as when I was pregnant though. I had a consult scheduled for a GI regarding surgery but I canceled due to bad weather and have yet to reschedule. I am worried about not having surgery because of risks but I’m worried about having surgery because I have no help with my girls (3 month old that weighs 14 lbs and my 2 year old that weighs 25 lbs) I’m assuming I wouldn’t be able to lift them and I’m not sure for how long but how could I do it? My husband works and we don’t have any family that would come and help. I am so conflicted. Anyone else been in this situation? Any advice…?
