Successful TOLAC/VBAC

So I am planning a VBAC but as I get further from my due date I am not sure if it will happen for me. I am 40+5 and I am not sure if I want to go through the induction process again. My first baby I was 41+5 when I got induced and I was failure to progress I was in labor for about 14 hours and I barely got to a two and my baby started going into distress every time I contracted on the Pitocin so I needed an emergency c-section. This time I already am dilated a little but not enough I have an appointment later today and I’ll see if I made any progress. I have a csection scheduled next week but I really want to go into labor on my own. I’ve done pretty much everything I could at home and nothings worked. I am unsure if I want to schedule an induction for the day before my csection try and if not just go with my planned csection. What should I do?
