Heavier periods

Hey all,

The last 5-6 months my periods have been heavier than ever before. I bleed a lot for the first day, and then the next few days it’s pretty light. I barely have any cramps. It’s so weird! I called my gyno and the nurse asked if I had been under stress, well, I had recently finally gotten out of a very toxic stressful relationship that I was in for nearly 4 years. She said maybe it’s my body adjusting to “normal”? Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t know if there’s a need for concern so I haven’t rushed to the doctor yet…
