Is it abuse?

My husband grabbed me by the neck and squeezed pretty hard... Didn't leave marks/bruises. Then let's go on pushes me on the bed. All while he was holding our 6 month old.  Never, ever would I think he would do this. So is this abuse to you? We were arguing when it happened and I slammed the door which made him mad...
