Nursing ?

Anyone here still nursing? If you did muse your lil one and is no longer nursing, how do you ween off? I had been trying since my daughter 11m and here we are still nursing.

Still nursing. We've just naturally gone down a lot. He's only nursing when he wakes up and then before his nap and bedtime. I'm hoping to slowly try the "don't offer don't refuse" method to continue weaning. Basically you just don't offer it but when they ask you still let them nurse. May take forever 😆 I'm both ready to be done and knowing I'll probably miss it.

How many times a day do you nurse? I had to distract my lo. We went from three (morning/lunch/and right before bed time) to two (morning and evening) by distraction. So at lunch I’d give him a bunch of variety…we would do an activity or two and then go outside with a drink and that was easy enough. Then the morning I would wake him up with coloring or an activity and make him “Starbucks” which was like a strawberry smoothie in a Starbucks cup. Pretty soon he forgot what we did nursing wise. Then at night. I changed up his bedtime routine and kept that consistent for about a week before the nighttime nursing went away. I just added a few more books and a few more songs. Now he doesn’t nurse at all 😢 but he sure doesn’t Miss it

Still nursing here too. I’d like to get my boobs back now (as so would my hubby! 😅), but little man is in charge of weaning, and it’s a slow process. I have started to refuse while out and about and deflect to his cup of water or a snack, or I tell him he can have xyz for now, and he can have milk soon. He is learning to be patient but still loves his milk for bedtime! 
TLDR: send help. I’m in the same boat 🤣

We are still nursing. First thing in the morning, before nap and before bed. Plan to wean around 2 and I am honestly nervous about how that will go. I am ready to wean and I think nursing may be preventing us from getting pregnant as we have been trying for almost a year.
