Painful sex.

Should sex be painful after a c-section? It’s only sore the day after then the second day, after that it calms down then it’s gone but after intercourse it’s almost like someone’s stabbed me in the stomach.

I had my first born baby on November 3rd via emergency cesarean and prior to him I had 2 miscarriages and 2 ectopic pregnancies so had a lot happen to my uterus the past few years, I had 1 miscarriage and 2 ectopic pregnancies in just 1 year (2019) so I don’t know if it’s just my body finally recovering from the constant trauma it’s endured for the past few years or if it’s something to do with the cesarean? It hurt occasionally before I got pregnant with my little boy but not as often as it does now.

I have a doctors appointment for next Tuesday as wanted some more advice on this because I fell pregnant with my baby on some fertility treatment so I’m trying to cover all basis and see if it’s common or if this is completely wrong and something needs to be checked out.
