How many children?

Random but how did you know when you were finished having children? Like did you get a feeling? I have two children, one 4 and the other 6 months and i don’t feel finished. Don’t get me wrong I feel so lucky to be blessed with two but I would love a big family. Also does anyone else feel like nobody cares about your second baby like they did you first? I don’t know maybe I’m being extra sensitive😂

Even tho I had a high risk pregnancy, preclampsia, exploding cysts, and more I considered more kids all the way until I was in the OR room for an emergency C-section, then I could feel the pressure of the blade cutting my stomach open and all of the sudden 6 hands were inside of me and pushing on every organ I had. My son was also 4 weeks early and we were not expecting it. My husband watched the whole thing, slicing, cutting, bleeding, baby and cyst removal, and then the stitches. He also watched me almost die from blood loss. 
I lost so much blood I needed a transfusion, recovery time was doubled because I also had a softball sized cyst removed and I also had other organ damage from my initial rupture. 
Once they stitched me up and sent me back to my room with my husband and newborn son, my husband and I looked at each other and agreed this was our one and only haha 💙 and now he’s scheduled for a vasectomy :)

So we knew when we were trying for our second that she’d be our last. Ours are 5 years apart because 1. Our first was a surprise 2. We were in an apartment for her first 2 years 3. I didn’t want 2 in diapers/pull-ups 4. I didn’t know if I wanted another for a while. So I knew I wouldn’t want to wait another 5 years for a 3rd because we felt like we were complete as a family. We like doing things and vacations and letting our girls do whatever sports/activities they want. So we can afford all of that and they can have their own rooms and they get along and fight just like any other age gap. My girls are 5 and 10 now! My husband had a vasectomy about 5 years ago and we don’t regret it! So nice not having to use bc haha. We just knew we were done. We had no questions or concerns of what if later or anything like that. Plus I love that we will only be in our mid 40s when our youngest is 18!

I've been in doubt about having number two. Being pregnant and having a toddler has taught me I for sure am done having children after this pregnancy.
I suck at being pregnant and the newborn phase is gonna be shit with a toddler at the same time. Soooo I'm fairly sure I'm done after this.
I'll have to wait for the title of grandma to hold babies again I guess 😂 or convince my SIL to have one more 😂

It was after having my daughter and 2 miscarriages all within the same year. After the 2nd miscarriage I said that the Universe is giving me some kind of sign and decided I was done trying for a 2nd child.
