Celebrating his birthday twice ?

My baby just turned 1 this Sunday. We didn’t do anything or had anything planned it was just like a get together and food. But hardly anyone came because it was just us and it was a last minute thing. We were supposed to Baptize/Birthday celebrate it together but for personal reasons we had going on it didn’t happen. I had a theme set up for him and had some stuff saved on my Amazon. I wasn’t planning on doing anything and just wait for maybe later on the year we could do it then. Would it be weird if I celebrate his birthday with the theme I wanted and baptize him as well. Later on this year ? I asked my SIL and she said well you kind of already did something small for him and he will still be getting gifts when you baptize him. But idk I really wanted to do it together 😭 this year let me know
