Hospital Bag...

Hi ladies, I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant and was wondering:

When should I start taking my hospital bag out with me when I run errands? I live a half an hour from any stores so I wouldn't want to head back home if I go into labor while out.

Also, what should I bring in my hospital bag? I currently have a couple onsies in both newborn and 0-3 mnths size, some socks, diaper cream and a blanket for the baby. And I packed me and the dad some comfy pjs, toiletries (toothbrush, hairbrush things like that) and couple snacks. I feel so lost as I'm a ftm with not much advice from anyone I know personally.
