Low progesterone

Bad news today. My progesterone level is 2.4 so my RE says I'm not ovulating effectively. I'm glad in a way that I finally have a reason for the infertility (TTC for almost a year, normal SA, period every month, positive OPKs) but I'm also heartbroken. She thinks we should do oral progesterone and IUI. I can't stop crying. I guess I just need encouragement. Any success stories with this route? Am I overreacting??
