Pregnancy after an abortion

Hi I’m just wondering if anyone has fallen pregnant a few weeks after a surgical abortion?

My partner and I are trying for a baby but have unfortunately lost the first one.

We would like to try again but was wondering how long does the hormones go down after the abortion.

I’ve taken a pregnancy test and it’s come up positive. Im unsure if that’s reading correctly or it’s picking up my hormones from the previous pregnancy.

My abortion was the 04/03/2022.

I’ve also got all of the same symptoms.
