No Support For Baby Registry

I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant I’ve purchased a bunch of clothes , diapers and wipes myself already . My dad bought my crib and my mom as also bought clothes, blankets and bottles. I decided not to have a baby shower because I live a state away from my hometown Cali. Some days are better than others and I just can’t imagine driving 8 1/2hours to and from Cali on top of getting dressed and partying at this point in my pregnancy. My mom also told me I should rest because that would be hard on my body especially since I caught the flu a few weeks back.

So I sent out a group txt to my cousins and aunties letting them know to send prayers for my delivery and the reason I won’t be having a shower and included the baby registry . It’s been two weeks now and have only received 2 congratulations 🎉. Even on my fiancé’s side nobody in his family has even asked for the registry but in tears that he is having a baby soon.

I’m already in the 3rd trimester and baby can come when she wants so I’m going to continue to stock up on things alone. At the end of the day it’s my child and I have to make sure she has her necessities.
