Vaginal blood clot

I’m 12 weeks 4 days… my 12 week scan went all well baby growing fine. Today I experienced light spotting and one blood clot when I went to the toilet. It’s stopped now. Been having light sharp pains during the day. I usually have light spotting after intercourse (happened this morning) and after ultrasounds. Worrying, wondering if anyone else experienced this. I don’t want to keep going back for ultrasounds as they are so uncomfortable for me and I don’t like the spotting.
