Cosmetology licence ?

So I just finished high school and I decided I want to go in to cosmetology,  but I had a question about after cosmetology school. So I know in my state you have to complete 1550 hours of school to get your Minnesota cosmology license, but does that mean that if I decide I want to move out of state one day would I have to go through school again to get that states licence, Just take a test , or no,  just kinda confused about how it works.

There are many states that require 1500 hrs or less, if you are moving to a state that is the same or less it's no big deal but if you are going to a state such as Iowa (where I got my license) 2100 hours is required. I have been told that you will be required to take more hours to work in a state that requires more hours. If your thinking about moving I would just check the date requirements of where you want to move but like I said a majority or states are 1500 and less. Good luck building a career as a stylist it is tough, hours you work are rough, and your whole body will hurt after 10hrs of a booked schedule but it's fun and you will meet great people!

In Kansas the number of hours is 1500. So I think as long as you have the right amount of house for whatever state you're going to/in and I think you have to take the test they send you to renew your license which is super easy.
