Biting?

What do you all do about baby biting while nursing? My 9 month old’s teeth bottom two teeth broke through within the last couple weeks and at first it wasn’t so bad, but now she bites me almost every time we nurse. I’ve tried everything I can think of but she still thinks it’s so funny. TIA!

When my daughter would bite me I would take her off my boob until she cried and told her that it hurt me. My daughter loved being on the boob so I didn’t have to keep her off my boob for long before she would cry.

Don’t react. Just pop them off and refuse the nipple for a few minutes. 
Eventually they’ll associate biting means no nipple. 
It took a couple weeks for my daughter but she was 5 months old!

I tried the idea of telling my son “no” but it backfired and he thought I was declining him completely, getting himself in such a state thinking he couldn’t have it even when offered 😥
The only thing that worked for us was pushing him into the boob so he had to let go of his bite. He’s completely grown out of it now

Yes, what the other two said : smush his face into the boob. Sounds contrary, but it forces him to open wider and let go.
