Chores for my boyfriends brother

what’s some good chores for an 8 year old boy? my boyfriend brother lives with my boyfriend & I & he wants to start buying things but we think it’s time for him to start learning some responsibility because we feel like he’ll take care of things better. So we brought up the option to do chores to help around the house & to also clean up after himself better & he said he’d like that .. what are some good “chores” for him to do? We have 4 dogs, so we’ll have him fill up their food bowls sometimes. But what else could he do? Btw we don’t have kids of our own & we are 23&24.. so we aren’t really sure what “age appropriate chores” are. thxx. And what is a reasonable “chore allowance”
