Milk Collection Shells/Cups

Time to blow that trumpet on Mother Nature and our amazing bodies ladies.

We are on day 9 of our newborn little lady and we have been solely breast feeding. On day 6 I started leaking during feeds so invested in some mainstream Medela milk collection shells and some cheap Amazon version to collect milk leakage from the none active breast.

Well look at these results! The photo of the shell shows one feeds let down and the newborn feeding cup in the photo contains 2 feeds worth of letdown!

Yey to the female body!!

Soon we will have enough milk for my husband too feed her. Plus - why waste the liquid gold being soaked into a breast pad. When the shells are comfy and easy - as long as you don’t bend over and touch your toes or there will be leakage.

P.s you can mix and match the two parts of the types of shell and they still work.
