Tonsillitis or worse?

Does this look like tonsillitis or should I go be seen urgently? Seems like the infection is eating away at the tonsil so I’m not sure.

I’m not one to usually say go to the hospital, but I would if I was you. That looks extremely bad!!! 
I ended up hospitalized for tonsillitis and spent over a week there and at the end they ended up removing my tonsils because I was so sick and I was getting worse! I was on morphine every 3 hours and every antibiotic and still got worse!!!

That looks like it could be an abscess tonsil. Go to the doctor.

Hi, I’m a doc. If you can’t be seen today at an urgent care then I’d recommend the ER. This has abscessed.
