1 week with a newborn not home?

I’m gonna be staying with my mom for about a week or 2 when my baby is born. What are some essentials I should have with me during that time ? I don’t want too much just enough to get by.

Clothes for both of you, burp cloths/swaddles (I use the hospital type blankets for both), diapers, wipes, formula/bottles if you’re not nursing, if you are nursing bring breast pads for sure, whatever you use for pain whether it be tylenol or ibuprofen, whatever you’re using for pads postpartum, a peri squirt bottle if the hospital isn’t providing one.  That’s about the gist of what we’ve used this first week home.  The first week or two are all about managing your recovery and learning baby’s habits.☺️

Honestly just Diapers and wipes. Formula if you're doing that. Pack and play to lay baby down. If you have that. 
They don't really need anything for a first few weeks.

Enough clothes for you, enough clothes for baby, plenty of pads or whatever you're going to use, blankets, bottles, pacifier, a bassinet, soaps for you and baby, breast pump, diapers, wipes, possibly a baby monitor. You might need nipple shields or cream but you can always get that as you go.
