How many ounces?!

So my first daughter strictly breastfed, I had no idea how many ounces she was taking in at a feeding, I never even pumped either cause she didn’t take bottles. My son now ( 3 months) is fed breast milk in a bottle during the day and he gets it from tap at night. How many ounces are your little ones drinking during a feed?? We usually do 4 and lately it seems like he’s wanting more sometimes but I don’t want to give him a bellyache or cause him to spit up more! So I’m just curious how much your guys babies are averaging!

My baby will take anywhere from 3oz up to 6oz. We make smaller bottles and try to burp and give breaks to give her time to digest to see if she wants more. After the first 3oz we do another 2oz and then 1 more if needed but that’s pretty rare. She’s comfortable when we BF só Im not sure how much she takes

I pump for my baby n now I feel like she’s in a growth spurt…. Like two 4 oz bottles so I started giving her a lot formula too… cuz my boobs just aren’t keepin up… even tho I try n try drink water n pump 6 times a day

My LO is 11 weeks and she gets 4-5oz every 2.5-3hrs during the day and 4oz the one time she wakes up during the night

My first daughter never took more than 4 oz breast milk in a feeding. A general rule is breastfed babies need 1-1.25 oz per hour, so if they eat every 3 hours 3-3.75 oz. I’m not giving bottles to my Jan 22 baby yet, but I’m planning on 4oz a feeding when she does get bottles. Make sure you (or whoever is giving the bottles) is pace bottle feeding.
