Cramping/Mild Contractions?

So after having sex last night I had some bleeding followed by mild contractions and on/off cramping. (I’m only 35 weeks pregnant). I know the cervix can get irritated and cause bleeding but was a bit surprised as this hasn’t happened before. I’m assuming I’m not in active labor as the contractions and cramps would probably be getting worse in intensity but they’re more so just remaining constant and uncomfortable.

I called the OB on call and he felt pretty dismissive (which made me feel embarrassed for calling). Just said if it gets worse to call back. Wondering if anyone has any insights or if there’s anything I should be doing?

I’ve been trying to drink water and rest but I do notice they feel more painful when I’m laying down or standing so I’ve just been sitting.
