Cramping throughout cycle?

I’m rarely off hormonal birth control so I forget what’s normal. We were avoiding pregnancy this month, used a FemCap and spermicide, and I’m like 6dpo now and feeling random cramping in my side (maybe my ovary but honestly I don’t know). Is this normal? I’ve only had a handful of natural cycles off birth control as an adult so I’m not sure what’s what. Hoping I didn’t get pregnant this month, we’re going to start trying after my period comes. My problem is I get pregnant easily so now I’m nervous that I’m pregnant despite birth control.
